GEOTECHMIN GROUP celebrated the International Children’s Day – 1 June by hosting jolly parties for its employees’ kids and grandchildren. Hundreds of children took part in various fun games and outdoor adventures at the ProAuto Service Centre in the town of Etropole and at the Sports Complex in the village of Mirkovo. The events were organised by Geotechmin, Ellatzite-Med, Geostroy and Geotrading – founders of Bulgarian Virtues Charity Programme.

The youngsters participated in lots of games and took a “round-the-world trip” through 5 countries on several continents. During their “journey” they learned some amazing facts from the experienced cabin crew. The children played exciting games in every country they visited – they built pyramids, played beach towel volleyball, carried water with a yoke and copper pots, danced “Rachenitsa” folk dance. There was also an art workshop for making kites and decorating greeting cards. The youngest kids were playing in the children’s corner where they enjoyed a live show with their favourite mascots Masha and The Bear. All children received plenty of gifts and sweet treats.

The celebrations ended with a musical programme getting all the guests to their feet. The brilliant pop singer Poli Genova performed some of her hit songs during the show in Mirkovo, while in Etropole people were dancing to the songs of the amazing young pop singer Dara Ekimova. The children of GEOTECHMIN GROUP were overjoyed to get autographs from the dazzling singers.

Partners for the event in Etropole were the Miner’s Club Association at Ellatzite-Med and Sport and Health Club - Etropole. They organised a quiz show comprising questions of various types and complexity. Mr Vladimir Aleksandrov, Chairman of Miner’s Club Association, handed out gift backpacks to the winners.
