Seven students started their internship at Geostroy. They will be able to gain valuable work experience and learn from some of the best professionals in the spheres of construction, geodesy, environmental protection and accounting.

‘It is very positive that there are young people who are willing to upgrade their knowledge and learn new skills in Geostroy. We have highly-qualified specialists in all areas of construction. They will show the interns how business processes are performed in the company,’ said Mrs Todorka Vladimirova, Human Resources Director at Geostroy during the official launch of the programme. She greeted the new team members warmly and gave them valuable advice for their future professional development.

Students embraced the opportunity of internship with great enthusiasm and gladly took on the first tasks assigned by their mentors. Each of them will take part in a set of activities which relate their academic and theoretical learning to field experience on the building sites where the team works.

‘Geostroy’s internship programme attracted me because the company is large, having the necessary technical equipment and an inspiring team of proven experts in the construction sphere,’ said Nikolay Minchev, a student at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. He added that thanks to the opportunity to be an intern at Geostroy, he would upgrade his theoretical knowledge and see firsthand how the whole construction process is carried out - from a project feasibility study to its successful completion. For Beatrice Belcheva, who also studies at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, the Internship Programme is a precious opportunity to learn from top-level specialists. Besides that, Nelly Sirakova and Anastasia Petkova are keen to gain practical experience in the field of environmental protection.

Geostroy has been running its Internship Programme for years. It not only gives students practical knowledge and enriching work experience, but also an opportunity to start their career in one of the top construction companies in Bulgaria.
