Geostroy is happy to add to its collection of prizes a Special Award from the National Contest “Building of the Year 2021”! The company won this prestigious prize for the construction of ProAuto Multifunctional Complex near the village of Krivina. The complex has a total floorage area of over 28,000 m². It consists of a commercial office building and warehouses, as well as additional service buildings. The construction works were executed in compliance with the most stringent requirements for sustainable construction practices and in 2021 the complex was certified to the BREEAM 2013 Standard with a “Very Good” rating. ProAuto Multifunctional Complex is conspicuous among the other buildings in the region with its nonconventional architecture and lush greenery ensuring maximum comfort and convenience to the people who work there or visit it. The complex complies with all environmental protection requirements.

The award was presented at an official award ceremony held on 15 December 2021.

A Special Prize was also bestowed on the investor Geotrading AD. On behalf of Geostroy, the award was received by M.Eng. Yordan Yonov, Chief Construction Engineer at the company. The prize for Geotrading was given to Mr Ivan Donchev, member of the company’s Board of Directors.

This is the fourth prize won by Geostroy in the National Contest “Building of the Year”. Over the years, the company has been awarded for the design and construction of Zemlyane Metro Depot, for the reconstruction of the American College in Sofia and for the construction of San Stefano Plaza Multifunctional Complex.
