Geostroy, together with other companies from GEOTECHMIN GROUP, took part in the jubilee edition of the Open Doors Day at the University of Mining and Geology “St Ivan Rilski” (UMG). More than 1,200 pupils from across the country and undergraduate students visited the event to get more information about training and career opportunities after their graduation. Among the special guests attending the event were high-school students enrolled in dual education classes at Todor Peev Secondary School in the town of Etropole and Agro-Technical Vocational High School in the town of Zlatitsa.

The Group’s companies presented their current activities and 2023 Summer Internship Programmes. For this year, Geostroy has announced 10 vacant internships in its main departments: Geodesy and Land Surveying; Quality, H&S and Ecology; Construction Equipment and Transport Fleet; Finance and Accounting. Mrs Todorka Vladimirova, Human Resources Director, presented the internship opportunities and benefits of working for the company.

9 companies from GEOTECHMIN GROUP offer a total of 80 paid internships, 30 of which are suitable for UMG students.

An entertaining quiz was prepared for the youngest visitors to find out how much they know about the mineral raw-materials industry, the construction sector and special-purpose machines used by the experts in these economic sectors. The children who answered correctly received incentive prizes.
