On Government’s proposal, Geostroy AD carried out a major renovation of Saints Cyril and Methodius Church, located in the village of Biser, Harmanli Municipality, which was flooded in February 2012.

This is not the first noble cause that Geostroy AD has supported, but it is more specific because of the reversive destiny of the village of Biser. One of the hardest moments in its history is related to the 101-year old church. It was burnt down by the Turkish Army in June 1913. Its roof was burnt as well as the inner columns, which sustained the middle dome. The church was renovated and consecrated again in 1925, but until the flood in 2012 there hasn’t been any major restoration.

The restoration of Saints Cyril and Methodius Church in the village of Biser has been a part of the donation policy of Geostroy AD.
