Geostroy AD completed the construction of San Stefano Plaza - a multifunctional complex in the heart of Sofia. The complex, which has already obtained its permit for use, comprises flats, a shopping mall, offices, a training centre with office premises and a car park with 488 parking spaces.

The exquisite prominence of San Stefano Plaza is due to the high complexity and masterful execution of its structures, installations and systems as well as its spatial conformity with the local urban environment and traditions.

San Stefano Plaza combines the “habitation” function with the elements of a multi-purpose zone covering all modern man’s needs. The complex was designed and built with the intent to provide maximum comfort to the people inside and around the building no matter whether they live, work or just visit the venue. During the construction, the highest quality, environmentally sustainable and energy efficient solutions were sought and applied. The project suppliers and manufacturers are leaders in all areas of construction industry. The invested materials and products were made in the European Union and Japan.

San Stefano Plaza is subject to certification under BREEAM standard - the world’s foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for sustainable building design, construction and operation. The certification process covers the full scope of activities performed in the execution and functioning of the complex: design, construction, commissioning and facility management. By doing so, it verifies how the “authors” of the project collaborated throughout the entire period of its implementation to the final stage – the completion of a building which is aestheticаlly beautiful, comfortable for living, long-lasting and environmentally friendly.
