Over the years, GEOSTROY has carried out a large number of underground projects. The most significant of them can be outlined as follows:

• Strengthening of an ore transport tunnel with a built-in trunk belt conveyor to transport extracted ore material from Ellatzite Mine Complex near the town of Etropole to the Flotation Complex near the village of Mirkovo.
• Construction of a bypass transport gallery for servicing a clearwater tunnel.
• Supplementary construction of water-catchment facilities on the River Negarshtitsa – extension of an existing mine gallery for clear waters – Section 2: Construction of a mine gallery.

The tunnel galleries are executed using a classical technology – drilling and blasting works with various cross sections ranging from 7.1 m² to 12.85 m², and the lining of the walls is consistent with the geological-engineering conditions.
