KET-3 was built in the inner contour of Ellatzite open-pit mine at an elevation of 1,060 m .

It consists of a main building, a trestle, a transfer house and a belt conveyor installed in a tunnel which was built simultaneously with KET-3.

The project is characterized by extreme complexity and specificity of construction, as it was implemented under the conditions of uninterrupted ore mining operations.
