GEOSTROY carried out the construction works on a Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Ellatzite Mine Complex. The facility aims to purify mine effluents by applying an innovative for Bulgaria technology of the Japanese company Mitsubishi Materials Techno Corporation (ММТЕС).

The main structures executed under heavy geological and weather conditions on the territory of the mining complex are as follows:

• a standard radial thickener
• a neutralization tank
• an administrative building
• a hydrated lime storage bin
• a sand filter
• a washing water tank, a washed water tank, a treated water tank
• a reneutralization tank
• a sulphuric acid storage tank
• a shaft and wastewater collecting pipelines
