GEOSTROY was a subcontractor of Geotechmin OOD in the construction of a Regional Waste Management Centre in Samokov – 1st Stage and External Infrastructure, part of the project Construction of a Regional Waste Management System in the Region of Kostenets (Samokov).

The project included the construction of:

• Cell 1 with a total volume of 350,100 m3 and its related infrastructure including service roads, a drainage system, a buffer tank, a modular wastewater treatment plant for leachate, a fence and a forest shelterbelt.
• Reception area – an administrative-utility building, a checkpoint, a garage and a workshop, on-site water mains and sewerage, power supply and landscaping.
• External infrastructure connections to the site

The project was implemented with the financial support of Operational Programme Environment 2007 - 2013.
